Wireframe of Life is a pavilion by Swedish humanitarian nonprofit Better Shelter at the Venice Biennale of Architecture.
Using local traditions passed down through generations and a mix of materials like bamboo, fabric, tarpaulin, and wood, people on the move construct their homes, often without any external support.
The installation offers a closer look at Better Shelterʼs structures and explores the beauty of local craftsmanship.
Wireframe of Life is designed in collaboration with architects Assaf Kimmel and Love di Marco, and includes the film A day in Tana River by artist and director Senay Berhe.
